He offered to renew my van insurance, at a lower cost. My van insurance was not due for renewal yet he had a lot of details about me. However the van he had me as owning was from over 5 years ago, so I guess this is some old hacked database and then a scam to get your money. 3 calls yesterday and 2 so far today. Asian men, today he said he was phoning me from Future Trends and would only ask me 2 questions. asked if I was Mr ----- I said yes then asked me if the address he gave was mine, I said yes and he went on to ask me further questions. I told him he had already had his 2 questions and was not amused. I had told them yesterday to remove my number but clearly they have not. I am with TPS but this does no good. Who can we complain to? Phishing Scam re: Amazon Prime renewal - automated message with American voice
I was called at 9.58 this morning by "Angelina" from 001059462210 with the usual story that my computer was being accessed by people who shouldn't be accessing it...
calls & rings off with no message - disturbes me when I am ill and not up to searching for the phone. it should be made unlawful to ring and leave no message, so one is left guessing, and I refuse to give them the satisfaction of ringing back, although it leaves me anxious in case missed something urgent!
