Automated car accident scam
Called twice and asked for Sky account holder. I told them I couldn t speak then but to call back later. The number looks legit but when I tried to check it out there was a message saying the callers message box was full - not good. They did call back as suggested but then no-one was on the line.
The same John, he wanted me to sing papers for a legal team to get me accident compensation. I gave him all my info including date of birth and national insurance number before I realised that he was not from my law accident team. I hope I am not in danger of identity theft.
All the numbers from the same range - 020347624xx - more similar numbers called me last week, probably the same call centre. I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. I was trying to dig some info on the internet, don't want to call them back until I know who might be calling but no luck. Some idea who is it? People did someone answer it?
