This phone number called me about a loan I apparently was applying for and said they would send me an email, they asked for my account number and sort code, I still haven't received the email and I am not happy that these people have got my details, thank God it isn't my main account.
This number called me today. Didn't recognise it so didn't answer. If it's a "real" call they will leave a voicemail. They didn't, therefore more than likely to be some kind of scam. Number blocked, suggest you do the same!

Answered call which then played pre-recorded message purporting to be about amazon prime renewal and to press 1 if I didn't wish to renew. I asked the caller how he had my number as it wasn't the one associated with my amazon account (it was but knew I was being played) - he then told me to f£&@ off you f&£@£)£ idiot and hung up.
Appears to be a bankng scam, claimed unauthorised payments had been made from my account and invited me to press button 1 or 2 to resolve it.
Apparently won £750 voucher from Tescos obviously bogus and a scam. Didn't click link or do scything but block it. Some day people may not fall for this rubbish.
Received a call from 01156772574, they claimed to be from Virgin media and offered a contract renewal for a Samsung S23 unlimited texts/mins and internet all for £25/month. Spam. Was an automated message with threat that my internet is going to be disconnected. I have a BT line, so I put the phone down on it and then picked it up and waited for dial tone and then dialled 1572, which allowed me to block the last calling number. Not sure if that blocking facility works on other providers landlines. But worth a try. It's a neat facility.

Recorded voice told me that my bank account had had attempted withdrawals and, if I wanted to stop them, to press 1 or 2 to speak to an "adviser" . I did neither and hung up and then blocked the number
