I was called at 12:30 while eating my lunch, it was a woman saying she was an energy advisor in my area. When I said "sorry what company are you from", she rudely hung up! Obviously a fraud as I live near ther south coast not in the area of Blackburn.

Scammers. An indian man called saying he is from Sky broadband and needs to check something about the security of the connection. He asked if I had an android phone where I could download a specific app (TeamViewer QuickSupport or AnyDesk Remote Desktop). If you install these apps they will try to get remote access to your phone and will steal everything they can. Just hang up and report the number.

SCAM Call from Sky technician department! Strong Asian accent. There is a problem with my broadband router. Not with and never have been with sky. Wanted me to load an app on my phone so she could show me what the issue was with the router. Not happening I said. Got accused of arguing with her. This is a scam number which charges a premium rate at 3. 60 per minute to connect you to a service, they will likely put you on hold to music to make as much money as possible. Do not be duped into calling this number. Before calling any phone number, double check the website’s URL to ensure it definitely belongs to your provider - 0333 numbers are the standard call rate 0903 are premium rates.

Calls from 0115-677-5963 are a Scam! If ever you don't recognise the number, DON'T SPEAK & JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anyone and after a short pause the line goes dead, then congratulations you've just successfully escaped being scammed! This is because it was a computer calling trying to establish if your number was in use and if a voiceline. If you'd spoken, your number would be logged as a voiceline and some clever con-artist would then be phoning you later.

Fraudulent message about coming in contact with someone with Covid 19. I clicked on the link, they provided and saw it looked like an NHS website. Then I went to click on the NHS logo (assuming it would take me to the homepage), however, it came up with a 404 code showing this page didn’t exist. This is a SCAM. It’s a fabricated message. Don’t fill out any details they ask for!
