SCAM. Called just before midday today (25/03/22). A male, southern English, recorded(?) voice on a line that seemed to be breaking up assured me that I was entitled to a free medical alert pendant. Scam! Have nothing to do with anyone calling from this number!

When you call back they ask for personal information and if you don't give them, they abruptly hang up the phone. At that point, I told her that I had not had breakfast yet, didn't have my glasses on, and that another time might be a better time. I was fairly polite. Of course I did not believe that she was from BT.

If the number is blocked some of these calls then get through on an unknown or withheld number. As our doctors and the hospital withhold their numbers and I have someone Ill in my household I just add annoying numbers to my directory under PITA ......aka pain in the a*** or telemarketers. I then have proof of the frequency of calls and I m aware it s them and don t answer the call. Sorry for long explanation but hopefully it might just help someone.
