This number has called me a dozen times by landline,mobile and text claiming to be Lloyds Bank telling me there is a problem with my debit card use and to call back or click the link urgently. Clearly a scam, and no call back has been made

SCAM - they claimed we owed £700 plus in an unpaid bill. We dont have any bills that size and ALL are paid immediatly in any event.

They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do. SCAM? This number called with a recorded message saying to press 1 to speak to hmrc tax officer. Did not have my name or anything but said that discrepancies had been found on my tax return and could be a criminal offence. Cut off when I didn't respond. Doubt that hmrc would be calling from Russia

Fraud = Impersonates SHELL workers and agents in Russian, buy 1 SHELL share £85 and you will be rich.

Scammers. An indian man called saying he is from Sky broadband and needs to check something about the security of the connection. He asked if I had an android phone where I could download a specific app (TeamViewer QuickSupport or AnyDesk Remote Desktop). If you install these apps they will try to get remote access to your phone and will steal everything they can. Just hang up and report the number.
