Scam - "calling from EE"
Genuine caller
Call center. Said name was Martin from the Rethink Energy Company, wanting information about the house. Claimed had been asked by energy companies to contact households in my postcode area. I said if I wanted advice I would seek it myself, not from a company I didn't know. Internet search shows that there is a Rethink Energy Ltd, but no Rethink Energy Company.

SPAM - 07934591231 - Did not answer this unknown number which left a voicemail of a recorded message supposedly from NHS saying your medical test is abnormal followed by a message in chinese or similar language.

I have received 2 silent calls from this number; one yesterday & one today
SPAM. Some woman with a ghetto voice saying "Hello, I am calling from (gibberish), how are you?"
SPAM After phoning me several times a day, every single day for a week, I finally picked up. Nobody spoke after I said "Hello" several times. I could hear background noise, and foreign language speakers chatting in the background. Highly likely a scam, just auto dialling a list of numbers in their database.

This number is a nuisance. Phoning at inconvenient hours and hanging up before saying anything.
SPAM. Recording from someone with an American accent, saying they are from Amazon and need to take £79.99 from my bank account.
They were pretending to be my credit card bank saying £900 was being taken then asked me to ring them,it was auto message
This number called and simply cut off when answered. Checked on here but there were no comments. Called the number to find it wasn't recognised, as per an earlier call from a different number. I can only assume these are scam calls.

Don’t answer calls don’t know who from and judging by the responses on silent calls/energy/insulation/sky scams glad didn’t. Know nobody in Reading which is the origin WHY is this still going on in 2023?m and nobody acts-NCSC/ICO/Action fraud don’t protect the individual Same with e mails-Those aforementioned Microsoft/Citizens advice and Which all meant to act-last two meant to escalate to Trading standards and do nothing! SPAM Unknown number but similar to other calls received over last few weeks but with variation in last 4 digits. Number called several times with no messages left so obviously not important. This number now blocked along with others similar to this.

SCAM this number is made to look like a local (to me) number which is why I answered. Automated voice saying that two unauthorised transactions had been made on my card and that I should press 1 to talk to an agent. Please don't fall for this scam.
