Sevaral calls over the past week, silent call. I phone back as I thought it was a cusomer but it was recorded message about Motor Assist or something similar. Called again today, my wife answered they said I had been involved in a accident. I was out in my van at the time so my wife was a bit worried. It is not a landline number but a Broadband line number which has an area code to look like a landline number.

The first caller said they were from BT and they would be disconnecting me from the Internet because of faults on my computer, or something like that. It was actually difficult to understand them. This is a company called 'First for Legal' - they use many numbers and this is just one of them; if you block one, they'll call you again on a different one. This number has called me several times over the last couple of days. I phoned back today as it is a local number and actually got an answer John at Assist Financial. Looked this up and yet again it is another hard sell scamming PPI company. When will something be done about these low life harrassing companies. Also apparently, they are based in Wilmslow, so how do they get to use the local 01933 dial code? Or is this another development in the scammers armoury?
