I couldn't tell hardly a word this character was saying. Sounded like a long distance call from India whilst he was wearing a big steel bucket on his head! I did pick one word which was "handset" at which I ended the call. My number is registered with the TPS but, as usual, that was a waste of time.

When I explained they were not in and asked if I could take a message, the caller sounded annoyed that the person he called for was not in, and then HE HUNG UP. . Cold caller? Telemarketer? Guy with very strong Indian accent, calls within seconds of me posting an advert on Gumtree. Said he was from Victoria Insurance and that it was about my recent minor road traffic accident I reported a couple of days ago. Told him I ve never had an accident and hung up. Number now blocked. This number rang my landline, but I ve had this number call my mobile on number on occasions until blocked on there also

The only way to get at these people is to go onto the Information Commisioner s website and report the number. If enough of us do this, they will investigate the number. There are very heavy fines for companies who do this. Report them every time you get a call - it is very easy to do.

Fairly well spoken Man claiming I had just called him from my number. Repeatedly asked me for my name when I kept telling him that I hadn’t called him he kept asking me who he was speaking to! Told him I wouldn’t give him my name as he had called me and not the other way round. He went way in the end. Not sure if it was a genuine mistake on his part but I’d certainly not called anyone snd double checked my phone, but he was determined to try and get my name.

Text Message supposedly from NatWest regarding a payment attempt and giving a URL to verify the payment. Suffice to say I didn't!
This number called my mobile. I did not answer, but wanted to check the number out first. there was no bad report on the number. when I tried to return the call there was no answer then a "click" in the line and a message that the "other person had hung up". this makes me think it s somebody trying to sell you something nobody wants
