Insurance SPAM This number and very similar numbers have been calling me daily for a couple of weeks. I have missed the previous calls but answered today. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. Said I would be able to claim up to ?8000 from misselling of mortgages and credit cards. Were very nice at start of conversation which turned nasty when I refused to give ?1100 up front fee. Just a scam!

A lady asked for my name, said she had recieved a missed call from my number. I told her she couldn't have because I hadn't made say calls. She said OK and ended the call.
