we were called in Cape Town from this number inquiring about stopping a supposed unauthorised credit card payment. This appears to be a scam.
Sales call I presume. I answered and could hear someone, they didn’t speak so I spoke loudly and they hung up! So annoying ha ha
This phone number was featured in an office to let advert in the first episode of the first season of doctor who in 2005, opposite the house of fraser on mary street, above the lezzet kitchen.
This is fraud. A message on my answer machine said they were from my bank and two large transactions were coming off my account. A quick check of my banking app proved this to be nonsense.

I moved house four months ago. I have a private and protected landline number (used to be called ex-directory). I have a call from this number at 7.15 pm on a Sunday evening??? How and why?? Man calling about a medical pendant. May have been harmless but he was very evasive when I asked where he got my phone number (we're not on any lists and don't get cold-called much).
