Some rubbish about me signing up for educational services which never happened. They hung up when I denied signing up for anything.
I checked with Virgin after readin Peters comments and they told me it was not a premium rate call .. it was a local rate .. I had a county court bailiff attend my premises and this telephone number was also on the paperwork I was given !! :(

SCAM - On answer a strident recorded message tells you that "A criminal tax fraud case has been lodged against you". I didn't bother listening to the full message - I heard enough to know it was a pathetic criminal trying to scare people into handing them either personal data or money. PPI Claim leech
This was actually just an automated BT text-to-landline service telling me the time slot for my Costco parcel delivery that I was expecting, so this was completely legit for me. It will try ringing you several times until you listen to the text message so just listen and it will stop. However, as it's a generic BT service it is open to abuse but I would advise against blocking it because the message delivery service itself is not a scam, just be aware though that the message you receive could be bogus.
