Automated call from "Amazon" regarding my account I do not have an account with Amazon, I never use Amazon or Prime. This is a scam. Annoying especially as it was an early morning call.
UK +447738015632 is a Scam caller. Hang up, block the number & report it. I answered & it took a couple of seconds to connect to the caller, in the way offshore call centres connect. Sure enough an Indian accented woman said "Hello how are you?" When I asked who she was, she said she was calling from she replied, Curry's PC World. Report it to Ofcom by texting or forwarding to 7726

When I asked where did they get my number from they mumble some national something. when I said they don't have my number they said all they need to know if my house is damaged. I said they don't even know if my property privately owned. Then they hanged up.

I answered a call from this number, and heard a male at the other end of the line with the sound of other people in the room. He didn’t answer immediately, and after a short while asked if I could hear him, to which I, possibly foolishly replied “Yeah, yeah”. The phone was not put down at his end, but there was no reply when I tried to communicate at which point I ended the call.

The caller said that they were from the National Grid and needed to change my meter. Apparently it is malfunctioning. This is a prelude to trying to get my bank details I thin; I didn't hold on for long enough to find out.

The company are legit BUT beware the 'free' government funding claim - it is funded, but, from your adult learning grant which is means tested, they need all your income details etc and a £125 fee if you do not complete the course.

The operator said he worked for UK Debt Solutions, it was a bit difficult to understand him because of his Indian like accent and I was right next to some factories thrumming away. He was polite, he said he was part of a government scheme to reduce debt.and my details were on some sort of database, which is entirely possible. The number identifies the message as RoyalMail contacting me. The mispelling of Royal Mail is reason enough to be suspiciouss. The asked me to click a link to redirect me to a web page to arrange delivery of a parcel they couldn't deliver. I have nothing on order and I am sure Royal Mail would not mispell their own name or contact me from a mobile. 100% a scam if like my elderly mother, you now look these strange numbers up online before responding.

It was someone claiming to be my daughter saying she had lost her phone and to ring her back on the above number. Daughter was with me at the time she definitely hadn't lost her phone. So in my opinion it was a scam.
