I too received a call at a funeral at 1020 this morning about so-called PPI, when asked how they got a ex directory number, they were reluctant to answer their source. I informed them a complaint will be submitted for their harrassment, I have also sent a letter to the BBC Panorama. programme who are investigating companies under various names. I ve done some research on this number and found out that it is a call centre called RSVP, based in East London. Not only do they offer wine club memberships and MCN motorcycle subscriptions, but also services from Hillary Blinds. Called me about 5 times before I picked up. Wine club offer in my case. Unsolicited, annoying call.
This number has phoned me multiple times but if I notice the call and answer it - the caller just hangs up instantly.
Call asking if i had suffered an accident i put phone down and blocked.
Fraud - saying that NI number has been compromised and wanting personalised details. Recorded message.

This number calls you, you get a brief ringing tone and the call is answered silently and drops the line when you answer. Probably illegally locating live numbers for unsolicited calls.

SPAM BT Openreach technical dept asking about my internet speed, when did I last test it, what were the values, can I recheck it. Then he asked if I knew how to get an accurate one and he would help me. I asked WHY!! He then wanted the ping rate. In the end I think he wasn’t happy because I am actually annoyed at the service 1.3 megabytes per second! I asked him what is this about and I am NOT letting you near my iPad. He hung up.

Automated call from American sounding lady informing me that an overseas surcharge had been made on my Paypal account for £199 - press 1 to pay the surcharge or press 2 to speak to customer service. Put the phone down at this point and blocked the number.

We do not know anyone in the Middlesbrough area and the caller did not leave a message. We usually receive Amazon scams around this time so are blocking the number.
Ppi scammers by the name of FRS. claim they hold info about your ppi and they can go back 30 years

SCAM Automated call from “Amazon” to say iPhone 7 I had ordered was going to be dispatched and I was going to be charged £399. with usual instruction to press 1 to speak to adviser if I hadn’t ordered it. Blocked number straight away; obviously I had not ordered an iPhone from anyone.

Foriegn caller from number 01392274111 said he was calling from BT open reach and that I had a problem with my broadband, that I wasn't receiving the service I should be. When I said I didn't have any problem with my broadband he abruptly hung up. Blocked. Something needs doing about these scam callers.
