This number claimed to be Amazon Prime, and asking me for 79.99 for yearly cost, the only problem with that I pay monthly, the number is 471296116760, I will block this number very soon.

Robot voice says this is visa calling, saying they have stopped my card due to a high volume of transactions to China.. Then tells me to select an option… I shut the call off at that point. A nasty fraud call.

Very suspicious but I can't work out what is happening??? A guy called me saying he had a missed call from me. I didn't recognize his number and thought it would be very unlikely for me to ring a random number like that by accident. He insisted that I had called him though and he was merely calling back. Checked my dialed call log - no I hadn't called him!!! I'm therefore trying to work out what the scam might be???

I had a email apparently from Meta (Facebook) to say this number (07956836341) had been added to my Facebook account and with a link to report this if it wasn’t me who added the number. The date on the email was wrong (Friday 6th June 2023 doesn’t exist). The link asked for my FB password so I didn’t continue. I checked my FB security details and no number had been added. It looks as though this is a scam to try to access FB passwords.

Claimed to be BT. When challenged, hung up!

Fraud Calling about government scheme to reduce debt repayments, but called from a personal phone number (07...) and didn't know any of my details beforehand. Would be wary.

They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do. Scam caller pretending to be from the FCA - Financial Conduct Authority. Part of another scam where they contact you initally pretending to be able to get you your money from a business that you may have been in contact with.

Pretending to be from Virgin Media Technical Support. Not even with VM

Another scammer pretending to be from Microsoft & Windows. Said a problem with my computer so said I use Android tablet and he wanted me to turn it on. Told him he was a ******* scammer and he promptly ended call!

Caller stated they were from virgin media and there was corruption on my router, they stated they would disconnect my internet due to the corruption if i didnt let them help me fix it. I have since called virgin media who confirms they have not called me
