Cold caller who called our TPS registered line, asking to speak to a named member of staff. Claimed to be Ewan from Connect (n.b. *not* BT Connect, just Connect ) and said he would be in our local area tomorrow, but then named a town over 20 miles away. Said he wished to discuss our upcoming assessment and proceeded to try to talk about saving money on your phone bill and broadband at which point we said we weren t interested and hung up.
SCAM - claiming to be from Debit card provider indicating fraudulent overseas use... didn't mention card issuer - clearly nonsense

SCAM / SPAM rang me on house phone and automated message said it was my broadband provider (name not specified) and that they were going to cut it off due to illegal use. it went on to say press 1 to speak to someone.... blah blah blah, I hung up but did not ring my broadband provider from my house phone. by the way WHO CALLED ME I have no idea what automat and paid number is as an option to choose for type of call.. maybe you could explain?

They said that Age Concern had selected them to contact people with mobility problems, and asked if I was sleeping well. This number has phoned me a lot of times recently, whenever i answer they seem to hang up, so why bother phoning me?
SPAM Have been called several times by this number now. Every time it's the same bloke asking if I'm the homeowner and saying I've obviously taken advantage of the govt offer of lift insulation, about 10years ago. Despite me telling him (every time) that I don't HAVE a loft I still get these spam calls. If I try to get a word in sideways I get cut off. It's becoming harassment now.
