Calls every day around 8am - luckily I have my phone on mute at this time. Message left says they?re calling from Lloyds Banking Group (Lloyds/Halifax/BoS/MBNA/Sainsbury?s Bank etc.). I?ve never banked with any of these outfits so best guess is scam.
African-accented male rang Didn't know my full Christian name, nor surname. Asked if I was a council house tenant If I have any cracked walls... which I coincidentally do but I don't confirm...I Kept Pressing Him: How They Have Number and Name (if only in part). He remainded polite and calm but still keen to get more information, WITHOUT giving HIS organisation's details.
At first silent, then very distorted female voice that I think claimed to be from a technical company. when I asked twice for the name to be said more clearly, she hung up
SPAM - Called asking to speak to my DECEASED father. Very rude and a total nuisance. Highly insensitive, especially when telling me that I was lying about the fact that my father was dead!

This company is not fraudulent, before you all rant, I DO NOT WORK FOR THEM, they are chasing me for a gym membership I had 3 years ago that I left because after 5 yrs they hadnt fixed the air conditioning. I just cancelled my DD and walked away, 3 yrs later these clowns are chasing me, told them under NO uncertain terms to take me to court (which they wont) as the fee to do so is the same as what there chasing! best thing to do is what I do, tell them to F off, argue with them, turn the tables on them and

Complete scam - send them an e-mail through their website http://www.firstassistsolutions.com/contact/ (use a bogus e-mail address and phone number and see how they like the runaround!!!) It was a voice mail telling me my internet provider would cut off my internet in the next 24 hours and to speak to someone press 1. I thought this to be a scam so put the phone down.
Sounded like a recorded call purporting to be from Mastercard about a security issue about a £600 charge this morning. Well, Mastercard would not call - my card provider would do so. I banged down the phone, but to be regarded as dangerous. Beware.

This number has appeared on our answerphone but they did not leave any message. After this lookup I have blocked the number as it looks like another case of blocks of telephone numbers being sold offto con men. This number traced back to be from Ghaziabad Uttar Pradesh in India. I really wish whoever allows these call centres, confidence tricksters and plain old Criminals to purchase these blocks of numbers could be reprimanded and even charged with aiding and abetting whatever crime they are used for. I received a fraudulent text from this number, purporting to be from HSBC Bank. It stated that I had authorised a transaction for £240, and if this was not me then I should click the link. Since I've never banked with HSBC, there was even more reason not to click the dodgy link.
