If I don't know the number I don't answer, if they are human and want me they will leave a message, if not it's a machine checking to see if I'll answer so they know they have a valid number. A scammer just called me with an automated voice saying that I bought an iphone from Amazon and if I want to put a stop to this purchase to press 1, I pressed 1 and went through to a weirdo breathing on the phone I asked him to remove my number from their list and he said 'no because you are really cute', I said I will report this number to the police and he said he will report my number to the police because 'you called me'. A total weirdo who is not only a scammer but really rude too.

I had a call from this number this morning at 10.49 (approx) and a recorded message came which told me that my Visa card had been used by someone for £900. I didn't bother to listen to the whole message as it was obvious to me that it was a scam. Interestingly I waited a few minutes and then called the number back (which I don't usually bother to do) and a very nice lady answered who said that she ran a clinic. It became obvious that she was genuine and that the scammers had used her number.
