A lot of missed calls from this number over the last few days but no message left, when I try to call back the cal won't connect. Does anybody know who this number belongs to? The number doesn't appear on any online searches.
Answering this number gives rise to a recorded message threatening legal action and arrest for tax evasion, and an option to press a number for further action. I rang off, but this looks like a dangerous phishing call that is after personal details (banking details). As it comes from a Westminster landline it should be easy to trace and shut down. It should be investigated by by the police.

Asked for bank details claiming to be from a company I work for. I know this number is not related to the company and they are horrified this has happened.
They ve bought an out of date list of names and numbers and are calling purporting to be a legal team. They asked by name for someone who used to use this number > 10 years ago.

Called us 3 times to sell iPhone 14 pro max plus 256 gb for £35 a month with unlimited minutes, and texts + 1000 International minutes and free roaming abroad. It seemed to be fishy as £35 x 24 months= £840 while the same phone on its own from pc world currents on its own is £1250 - they say they are phoning from pc world currys -and the email they sent seemed flawed. They wanted us to pay about £39 delivery and our bank details for direct debit - but seemed dodgy so just ended the call.
This number is clearly a scam stating taxes are owed & legal proceedings will be started. 1. The terminology (& robotic voice) is American. 2. HMRC will never phone you. They will message you to go to your on-line account.

company called saying that they was from my life insurance company and was due to review my policy . when said that if wanted wanted to change i would call the provider they said dont understand and argued. rang my provider they said never heard of them and you ring them to update or review any policies they dont ring you reporting it , So possibly a scam .
