SCAM-Was at work. Don’t know anyone in Rotherham so ended call and blocked immediately. & from look of feedback glad I did. I am getting scam e mail attempts daily. Trying to tempt me under differing guises either offering loyalty points or entering me in competitions . Got a call from 07477139663 claiming to be HMRC and stated that a letter from them was not delivered and I will be persecuted unless I press 1 to speak to an agent... I am not convinced this is how HMRC operates so I hung up. Second time this has happened within the last week

SPAM / SCAM / ANNOYING - where did they get out telephone number from? The call was supposedly about old windows and doors scrappage scheme - to see if we were eligible. It seemed that the caller at the other end of the telephone may have been AI rather than an actual person as 'he' didn't actually comment on what I had answered but just went onto the next question. I therefore asked if it was a real person or AI and if it was AI, then I wasn't interested, and hung up.

This number is a brand new HMRC scam. Be careful. Managed to hold up their phone lines for a few hours today, but they will 100% be making more calls over the coming days and months. Don't be fooled by them.
