They called twice today, 2nd time I answered, they just hung up.

Automated call from 01189668073 on my virtually unused landline threatening to cut off my internet service in 24 hours due to illegal activity. This was recorded by my answer phone and the message invites you to press 1 to speak to the technical department. No doubt that would then be some scam which is being deployed.
Everyone should beware that there are many fake bitcoin mining/clouding out there, I have once been a victim of cryptocurrency scam. The whole plan was so smooth I could not doubt it. Bitcoin is actually a great investment option but one thing I discovered over time is that it is not possible to mine bitcoin so don’t be deceived. I invested $95000 on a particular website called crypto-ndn , I monitored the profit yielding but i never knew that i was dealing with a fraudulent company, when it was time for me

SCAM. E-Mail from Mcafee saying I had bought product for £120 and giving this number to call if it was not me. It came from a personal E-Mail address and there was a grammatical error in the message - Obviously a scam!

I answered the Call it put the phone down on me. Unsure if this was a Cold-Caller or someone who got the wrong number and put down?
They hung up as soon as I answered, scammers?
