Someone called up saying they were from BT to supposedly report that our internet was being hacked. They were extremely vague with details and tried to use different technical terms but it made no sense. He didn t call from this number but said we should use it to call him back. He called from 01398 774762 which has also been reported as fraudulent multiple times.

The number is similar to others that have been pestering me recently so I knew it was the Talk Talk fakers at work still. Last week I got three such calls in one day, so now I answer in a loud voice which seems to upset them, after which I wait until they mention "Talk Talk" before hanging up. The man said he was from sky but did not have any idea about my deal with sky and was was pretending to offer me a package thay i already have. Also I heard noise and laughing in the background at the start of the call which felt was suspicious as usually the background noise is not heard. I felt it was a scam so declined the offer.

Another "we hear you ve had an accident that wasn t your fault" waste of time.
