Received a call from 0161 818 2004 earlier this afternoon from an chap with an Indian accent. He enquired about any motor accidents/claim that I may have had in the last 3 years. All he had was my phone number. I was immediately suspicious. He said he had a legal duty to obtain further details (name, address, date of accident, cars involved etc) and that I was legally obliged to supply it. He claimed to be acting on behalf of a bank of insurers, but failed to identify any insurers that I had policies with.

KEEP CALLING AND WHEN I ANSWER PHONE THERE IS NO REPLY FROM THE CALLER OR THEY ASK TO SPEAK TO OWNER OF THE BUSINESS. THEY DO NOT STATE WHO THEY ARE OR WHAT THEY WANT. THIS HAPPENS AT LEAST 4 - 5 TIMES PER WEEK.

They seem to get numbers and call them, unsure where they get their private numbers from and the information or not on who may answer. I have had over 40 calls from these people on their new number 0161 939 7225. These scammers are trying to get you to claim PPI and will not take no for an answer.
