Telemarketing
Scam, by a company called Medequip. Refused to tell me why they called me unless I gave them personal information. Never dealt or heard of this "company".
Claimed my internet was "compromised" just hing up on them.
Friendly number
A common PPI Claim Scam: "We have a cheque for you from a loan company which we will release to you via someone personnally coming to your door." You have to purchase ukash vouchers to the value of their percentage fee from a local shop (If they have your postcode they can even helpfully tell you which shops locally run the ukash scheme)They claim not to require payment before the cheque clears BUT will at some point request the ukash voucher code number. If the code number is given over the phone then th
scam caller, same person called "alex" called twice now a week or so apart. First time claiming that they have installed loft insulation and they wanted to confirm that we were happy. They called again to offer "advice" on energy efficiency. Even though I said NO several times they continued reading from their script or it was a recorded message.

A woman asked if I was involved in a car accident ( I don t have a car, I don t drive). No idea where they found my number. I asked her to repeat what she said and she hung up super fast with no explanation.

After seeing all the feedback on this number, and thanks to caller ID on my phone, I just ignore and let the answer machine do the work!
Telling me that I had used my Visa debit card for a transaction for around £400.... told me to press 1 to confirm. A)I dont spend this amount in 1 go and b) I have 57p in my account. This is a hoax call trying to scam money out of people.
