Called me a few minutes ago today to offer me a deal regarding my debt management plan. I told them (truthfully) that I am ill and asked them to call back another time (which was generous as my debt management plan is working very well, and I didn t need to talk to them at all). The called did not know where I was from so admitted they are in Bangalore before I pointed out they were using a virtual London number. The only staff was Arslan Majeed who was both secretary and Director. Born July 1983.

This number just called me asking for me by name I asked who was calling they said IT and something was wrong with my computer. At that point I put the phone down.
Was offering me a discount with O2 as I was a loyal customer. Told him I was not with O2 and he said his system may not have updated so obviously not calling from O2 or on behalf of them

SCAM: The number 08000478737 is on a letter supposedly from Trading Standards saying a wine investment company I have shares with has gone bust. The letter comes with an Insolvency Service form to complete regarding my shares, and that i must complete it in order to get full value of my shares returned. I must telephone the number to give the answers. Except, the wine company hasn't gone bust & Trading Standards don't send out these kind of letters.
