I was called by 01131132840 today 15/12/14, Indian sounding lady, telling me she has been tracking my use an can see my Computer has various problems, virus etc and that she can help me, usual rubbish. knowing that she was going to try and access my PC to either download virus or steal my personal info I asked her sarcasticaly do u need to remotely access my computer?! Very fishy number. They called me but the person on the phone was a recorded message telling me to call them back. It also said if I disregarded the message I could face legal consequences. Surely, if it was that serious, a real person would be talking to me and not some recorded message. Based on the other review of that number, I won’t be called back.

SCAM - a man with a accent asked my for 30seconds of my time, i asked who he was and what he wanted he gave me all my details and phone number and aske me to confirm which i said no, i asked him to remove me from the mailing list he said no, i told him i didn't want anymore phone calls and why couldn't he remove me, he said i can't tell you !! They verified my details, knew my name and every handset/plan I already had, and after a brief chat, concluded that I didnt need anything. I get these kind of calls 1-2 a year. They are a telesales company likely working with EE. There is a lot of negative comments, but this is the way the capitalist world you live in works. Accept you will get these calls, people trying to sell your something.
Fraud. A recorded voice told me that my visa card was being used to purchase something in the region of £600. I was supposed to press '1' but the voice didn't say what for!! I tried calling the number but it doesn't exist. Beware!
