Rang to say I d won a holiday to Florida but would have to pay for Flights. Asked if I was age 30-60 & an him owner. She then said she was transferring me to someone else to hand over personal details. I laughed at her & put the phone down. She rang back immediately after to which I ignored the call. Another call purporting to be from Virgin Media saying my security is at risk. I put the phone down but telling them beforehand that I was putting the phone down.

Called our TPS registered number, asking for a member of staff by name; then asked for a message to be left for them from Warren at Payzone . A cold-call from a company we do not know and with whom have had no prior dealings (except for them making other cold-calls in the past).

Telemarketers, usual nonsense, I suggest you just cut the call if answered by mistake, block them on the mobile or landline handset if you are able, if you do talk to them then of course ask for your details to be removed etc... Do not behave like the quarter wit above, screaming and shouting at them, it just makes you look like a complete and utter fool and an idiot and in truth there is no reason to behave in such a way, it acheives nothing in terms of getting you out of their database.
