Claimed they were informed of our car accident. When I asked for their name or company, they hung up. Calling them back, I was unable to call the caller ID from their call.

I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! I am glad to let the world know that when you see this number it is not worth picking up. Just leave it & let it ring! I wonder how much their phone call expenses are? Called by this number yesterday. They left a recorded message, an advert for claiming mis-sold PPI. No idea who the company is, but 01257 is a number in Coppull, Lancashire.

Calls same time every day annoying hangs up before I get a chance to answer(not that I would bother answering!).Untrustworthy time wasters.

This is a faux number (as in faux fur), as it's got too many digits i.e. it's a spoofed / fraudulent / scamming / junk caller. :-)

Called 4 times in a space of 2 hours. Answered the first time, they hung up straight away, ignored the call the next 3 times, but they still call.
