This number belongs to a company called Intelling Ltd based at Wythenshawe (Manchester) and Belfast. An O2 customer service representative confirmed that it is an O2 number, or rather that O2 uses this company to sell its services. The Managing Director at Intelling is a chap called Phil Morgan. SCAM / SPAM I suspect a scammers phoned me claiming there is a tax fraud under my name. Telling me to press 1 and if I did not do this I would be arrested shortly. Of course I just hung up, no fraud office, tax or otherwise would conduct itself in this manner.
SCAM / SPAM Automated message saying it's HMRC calling regarding a fraud case. I doubt the HMRC would call in this way. They ask you to press 1 to sort the issue. I would assume they start charging you an extortionate fee if you press the number. Do not press. If HMRC want to get in touch with you, they will do it with a person on the phone, not an automated message.
