First Assist from York called today, Asked to speak to me (using my FULL NAME), asked who was calling! He said his name David and calling from First Direct and ringing about the injuries I received in the accident I had last year . . cut him short to ask him for his mothers phone number, he ask why. Told him so I could get my son to ring her up and tell her what a con merchant her son is. TOTAL SILENCE . . when to tried to speak again cut him off. Now blocked.
Have recieved numerous calls for the past 3 days from them. Dont know who they are, havent picked up.

Just called with opening that it was "Windows Technical Support" calling about windows computer. Not heard from this scam in a while. I used to go through their instructions sometimes to waste their time, reporting what I saw on my screen - a Linux box NOT Windows. They were trying to pretend the Windows logs were showing that the machine had been compromised. Of course, their instructions don t work on a different system. Endless calls. You’d think they would take the hint that I never answer. They’re relentless. They are reportedly a recruitment company but they feel more like spammers.
SCAM only answered as it was a local code and I'm waiting on some calls. Not an English accent. Tried to tell me they were from Amazon and someone had tried to use my details to buy something for £400 asked if I had. Said no so was told to check emails, didn't have one so was told to use computer not mobile as for security it would only go to computer ???? At this point I was bored so told him to do one. Rang number back and no surprises it wasn't recognised.
