Claimed to be calling from Carphone Warehouse, trying to sell me a new phone. Offered to buy out my existing contract. Wasn't keen on taking no for an answer.
Fraud claiming a Debit Card had been used for large amount.Phishing for Bank Details.
SCAM Suspected scam call to my landline. Said they were from Virgin Media and that their test showed my internet connection was slow. She came up with an account number when I asked but then when I said we hadn't been supplied by them for a long time she just hung up on me without another word. Not professional behaviour if they were from a valid company! Looking up the number online does not return a result, which makes it more likely this is a scam/attempted fraud rather than a legitimate call.
