I got call from this number and dont recognize phone number

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. this is a total scam ... called me 50 times in the last week... woman with a scottish acsent asked for me by name ... stated as if it was a fact that id had a road traffic accident my reply was apparently so, her response was what date was it so i asked her what her computer told her because thats obviously right, to which she hung up ... honestly some people should not be aloud telephones, tried calling back 4 times just on hold then says "goodbye" and hangs up.... load of tripe

Who has called me from this number

I have had over 40 calls from these people on their new number 0161 939 7225. These scammers are trying to get you to claim PPI and will not take no for an answer. They called my mobile a month ago and I strung this chap along for over 8 minutes since it was a landline to mobile call, thinking that they would pay a lot for the this scam call. He stuck very closely to a script trying to tell me I was owed money from past loans and could claim back for free. Asked him to remove my number from data base and

Repeated calls. Either put phone down on me without saying anything or on one occasion laughing then putting phone down. Rang number and it was not recognised.

I only answered this as it was a local number. Obviously a way of getting calls answered. Woman was not local and asking about hearing damage! Another one to block!

They phoned me to say they were Microsoft Specials. Told me my PC had a fault - possibly Virus Infected - and first tried to access my PC via Teamviewer. Cold call....I don t answer any number unless they leave a message and I want to call back. Any number that comes through that doesn t leave a message or is unknown to me I just put it in my blocked list and delete it immediately. Don t ever call unknown numbers back if its genuine they will always leave a message
