Angry man calling to tell me I used his card to buy stuff from amazon, thought it was funny as I knew it was a prank, made a lovely change from the Microsoft scammers

Who are they? Just called me telling me I took a loan out on a certain date for a specific amout. Total rubbish I think. The caller said he will send me an email. Seems like a scam to me.

Person put phone down on answering phone . Used 1471 and then pressed 3 to return call. Rang once and then cut off.

getting fed up with these nuisance calls all the time so phoned ofcom who are supposed to be the policeman to deal with these calls. to be honest ofcom is about as useful as a fart in a spacesuit. all the lady could tell me was to use call blocking etc. to which i said when these people have 100 s of numbers not much good. told her that ofcom should prove their worth and starting earning their money by doing something about it. but of course they wont because telephone companies will start bleating suppress
This number called at 3.38am. It was a pre recorded message Barclays was mentioned but I was angry after being woken up at that hour and put the phone down
