Fraud." Steven " (obviously calling from India!) to say that he was calling from microsoft about a problem with our computer . Obviously wanting to take over our computer to steal bank and other information .
FraudNigerian lady making out she was from Amazon. The usual stuff; "Hello its ......calling from Amazon. How are you today." When questioned about where she was calling from and what she wanted she hung up. Same thing yesterday but on telephone number 01227639970
going on about a new boiler .... if I need a new boiler I will contact my local supplier whom I trust .... have these idiots nothing better to do!!!!
Vodaphone identified this as spam. The location of the caller was Nelsons Column in London.

I RECEIVED A TEXT FROM THIS NUMBER THAT PURPORTED TO BE FROM HALIFAX(part of HBOS). IT STATED THAT AN ATTEMPT HAD BEEN MADE TO SET UP MOBILE BANKING ON MY PHONE. THERE WAS A LINK TO A WEBSITE TO INFORM HALIFAX THAT THIS WAS A SCAM ATTEMPT! You were asked to enter you account login details to access the denial facility. Delete this text if you receive it. DO NOT FOLLOW THE LINK.
