I got a text - rang back the number and they asked me for my card number - a bank would not do this - made them aware and hung up
They have been calling from a different number (01785318539) for over a month almost every day and now have started using this number. I cannot answer the phone during the day.

Called me stating they were looking to compare my energy bills and if I completed a survey with them they would give me 5 lines on the Lottery. Informed them I do not pay the bills in the property I live in and they asked for my postcode and then hung up. Definite scam, blocked number.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. explained i was receiving treatment from district nurse and not convenient to talk, they became threatening and abusive saying i had to talk to them or they were going to visit me ! i then hung up, bit they called twice more in the next 5 minutes, so i took phone off the hook
Scam recorded message to my mobile claiming my internet was about to be cut off because of malicious usage. This follows a number of similar calls to my land line.

I keep seeing calls from 0151 5246... I haven t answer them. Answered it this morning...didn t say anything, waited for someone to say something...didn t hear anything. Simply hung up!
Just had a new washing machine delivered then received a call from this number who wanted me to pay extra money for insurance. Then I chose to cut the call and contact the real D & G who assured me it was a rogue call!
