SCAM this number purported to be from PENSIONS Direct. It was a recorded message saying all advisors were busy. I expect we will get the scam part of the call next!
Normally don't answer the phone for numbers not recognised, but was expecting a call from a Leeds no. so took the plunge. Anyway, the person at the other end of the line explained that they worked for an 'Energy Hub'(*) and that I would be entitled to a free energy survey - which included an internal/external assessment of my property to see if any energy savings could be made ... all on the back of the cost of living/energy price rises 'fear' ... Recorded voice claiming to be Amazon and saying I'd been charged £95 for Prime, and to dial '1' if I didn't agree. A quick check with the Amazon website confirmed this to be BS. We wonder where dialling '1' would go and at what cost?

Green Energy Together asking for a 25% upfront payment to secure our solar panel installation, they didn't introduce themselves properly so I didn't trust them and told them I'd rather stick to the agreement to pay on the day as originally agreed. They said I'd receive a confirmation email for the new install date but I didn't so I suspect this was a fraud caller.
