SCAM Indian call centre called claiming to be BT and said that my WiFi was being used illegally by other people without my knowledge. They even sent me texts and emails on legitimate BT numbers and email addresses. This is a very clever scam, do not fall for their scam, BT will never ask for access to your PC to 'prevent access to the WiFi' or for any other reason. On a mobile telephone I use only for emergencies I received a text message suggesting I apply for flight delay compensation. I get many unwanted calls. This was another uninvited intrusion. I have not flown! They must have randomly picked my number. It was bad manners, another impertinence of the type that needs to be stopped.

Appears to be operating in the UK, English accent. Claims to be from an energy supplier from 'your area' however they are cold calling and know nothing about you. They will hang up quickly as soon as you query further, they will ask for personal details. Believe they are trying to sell loft insulation / boilers unsolicited however be careful they are also likely putting you out of pocket and potentially a SCAM.

Many calls from this number and a dozen others, one at half midnight. On the occasions I did answer they gave the name NCS Legal. I asked them to stop calling, explaining I was registered with TPS. The only thing that worked was lying to them by saying the insurance company had already fully compensated me - there was no money to be claimed. Miraculously the calls then stopped. I ve complained via TPS. Please consider also complaining, TPS or OfCom. Hopefully eventually they ll get landed with a good size

Read out to me my name and address and when I confirmed these was going to pass me to her "supervisor" to complete a form. Asked her to tell me what brand of washing machine I've actually got. Unsurprisingly she hung up. Don't know what the scam was going to be but clearly there is one
