Computer generated voice telling me I was being investigated for Tax Fraud and if I didn't press 1 to connect to someone I would be arrested. As if! Presumably this would connect me to some high charge rate number.
Scam call claiming to be from Microsoft. Other reports say this is also used for a scam recycling. Be wary do not trust anyone phoning from here. I got the number from 1471.

I missed 4 calls from this number so guessed would be a Nuisance Call. Purportedly is the NHS Health Centre. They ask have u been vaccinated, are u well etc etc and then they ask one final question Are You Covered For Lufe Insurance. I already had this pegged as a nuisance number but wanted to know Real Reason for call. This number is a company called Natural Essentials. They flog over-priced vitamins and supplements to vulnerable elderly people. They are really persistent. When they come up against call blockers, they instantly re-dial with alternative numbers. Just recently they are even switching to international numbers in an effort to bypass. I usually don t answer numbers I don t know (as I get a lot), but I felt like answering this time. A bloke with a northern accent asked for Mr Chin . I told him I don t know that name (as it s not my name and I know no one of that name.) The man on the phone then asked: "Are you hiding him?" Pretended to be a local business wanting an emergency Plumber (so avoiding our reception staff) they then tried to sell Screen advertising.... As per other reviews underhanded.
