Called to tell me "HMRC were filing a suit against you press 1 to talk to your case worker." Calling and not specifying which ocupant of the premises they want. HAHAHAHA HMRC do not work this way! HMRC can write me if they want to file a law suit against me or they can write my partner if it is her they want! Rang in early morning. I lifted the receiver, said nothing and they then hung up after a few seconds.
A text supposedly from Lloyds: a payment attempt from a new device. I do not have a Lloyds account.

I very stupidly entered my details so I could simply get a quote on a loan that I had been messaged details about. Ever since then I have had god knows how many calls and message s, numerous times a day. I now have to put my phone on silent so it doesn t disturb my work. I have blocked a load of different numbers but they keep ringing on different numbers. Word of advice - steer clear of them all!!

Told me my appliance cover was expiring shortly. When I said I wanted to make a claim he changed his mind and said it had expired. SCAM obviously, but who issues these phone numbers knowing they are used to defraud - somewhere a legit company has to be issuing these. They are no better.

This number is ao.com. They ring it when you ve placed an order in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact, their sole purpose is to sell you their costly insurance cover for the items you ve bought. No new information re delivery details is provided, they just repeat your order details. These are unsolicited scripted insurance sales calls and as such a form of harassment. They don t leave a message when they ring so that you ring back and incur the cost of the call. Very shoddy behaviour.
Man’s voice. Only said hello, so I believe I it to be a nuisance call. I blocked caller and the same voice called back with an unattainable number!
