Indian callers are using this number to scam people - acting as BT officials and urging the people they call to switch on their computers so they can either fix your internet connection or help you get rid of a virus. Being extremely PC-savvy, I challenged the caller, at which point they disconnected the call.
Daughter is on contract and rejects the number immediately tried contacting her twice!

Fraud - tell you that HMRC have issued a warrant for your arrest and to press 1 then they leave the connection open at their end and charge you premium rates for the call. Please don't answer - people have lost up to £300 pressing 1 and then they continually try you on different numbers every day after this. This should have been stopped long ago by the authorities - it's a disgrace that it hasn't been.

Low-life indian man sounded like he was relaxing at home talking to somone he knew when he phones me. Said he was from Sky and I was getting a £202 refund. I told him he was a stupid lying thief. "No I'm not! I'm calling you from Sky to organise a refund!" I told him That I was sorry, that he his a REALLY stupid lying theif! If I had Sky, which I never have, they would already have my details and would have just made a refund if one was due.

Keep getting calls from this number over several days and several times of the day. About oven cleaning and BBQ cleaning I just hang up. Have blocked this number on my handset now and reported them to ICO. Are registered with TPS but looks like they only deal with human people phoning you and actually talking to you type of calls.
The number is similar to others that have been pestering me recently so I knew it was the Talk Talk fakers at work still. Last week I got three such calls in one day, so now I answer in a loud voice which seems to upset them, after which I wait until they mention "Talk Talk" before hanging up. I asked him to remove my name and number from their list and then he put me onto someone else who was pushing the same agenda. I ended up telling him this was harassment and put the phone down on another very ignorant man.
