Man with Indian accent said his name was Ray Hamilton claiming to be calling from HMRC and said I was due nearly £500 in tax rebate. Asked for my card details but didnt give them to him as it is a scam. HMRC wouldnt ring to say you are due a tax rebate let alone ask for your card details on the phone.
SCAM Don't know anyone in Manchester and as it's a landline number I treat it as a company trying to sell something.

SCAM. Allegedly from HER Majesty's Revenue and Customs. 1st clue - HER Majesty has been dead for 10 months. 2nd clue The recorded message was made with an American accent. Doubt very much that HRMC have sub-contracted this to the Americans (yet).
This number comes from Aylesbury, I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Have missed calls from them on my mobile, was trying to dig some info on the internet before calling them back, but found nothing, no luck. People pls did someone answer this number, who is it?
