Claimed to be from a local enery saving firm, when I questioned the phone number on my display not being local he admitted to calling from the other end of the country. If someone starts a call with a lie it doesn't bode well. Ended the call and blocked the number.

I have had 2 calls in 2 days from this company regarding my washing machine warranty. They could not tell me how they knew what machine I had as I recently obtained this machine from my brother. No paperwork completed on transfer.
I just received a call from this number, the person on the line was very polite however the content of the call was very confusing. Repeated calls from this number in recent days. Callers insisted I had ticked a box on my car insurance renewal indicating that I had had an incident in the last two years, then tried to argue with me when I told them that that was not true and their records must be wrong. I asked to be removed from their list but am still receiving calls.
