0113 328 0671 Sent me a text saying bailiffs and enforcement officers were going to attempt to retrieve my belongings and to call them - so I did in a panic and revived the most disgusting attitude from an Indian man telling me he was trying to retrieve my details and when I wouldn’t give him any he got very irate

SCAM First I received a silent call from 028 8505 1239 (to verify a working number?) Then within 5 minutes, I started getting whatsapp messages from a very attractive female profile asking when I was going to visit her using the number 07727214429. Looks like a scam to me.

He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. SCAM Fraud Banking Firstly, a test message was received on a mobile saying it was the Fraud department of a Credit Card company and they would be calling about “recent activity from your card. Expect a call from our Fraud team. Please wait for our call”. That was followed 2mins later by a phone call to the same mobile number saying it was from 02071934897 (London). Not a number associated with a Credit Card company! The male caller asked for the additional card holder by name but hadn’t called that person

This telephone number rang my mum who hasn't got a clue about online banking or the internet. A bloke called James Taylor claimed he was from Action fraud. He informed my mum that she had activity on her bank account that wasn't showing up, and he then persuaded her to transfer a huge amount of money to there account, saying she will get it back after investigation of a few days. Which would be to late. Please stay clear of this number and block them.
