Automated call SCAM supposedly a bank security warning. I have had a spate of these from various numbers in the last few days, with the same female-voiced, automated message, warning of "suspicious" payments made from my bank to Amazon and international transfers. the usual "press 1" to acknowledge the message, "press 2" to speak to someone. blocked.
SCAM . Text message about stressed out daughter / son who has dropped their phone down the toilet and want a text message sent back on a different number to the originators.
Very strange call. Almost certainly a scam.

Scam call purportedly from bank advising of fraudulent credit card transactions which they are blocking. The caller wants you to input a code which they text to you. DO NOT DO SO. If you do they will, no doubt, get access to your account. I put a block on the call number via my mobile phone provider and sent an email to the bank's security dept informing them of the scam.

I missed a no caller ID call from Dundee city council, the person gave me this number to call back on. I'm immediately greeted by an American automated voice giving me options to which I decide to hold for assistance cuz none of them mean anything to me. 4 Scam. Received a text supposedly from EE saying they've given me extra points, the points will expire in 3 working days and to click the link to claim them. Called from "my bank security" telling me that my card (no ref to debit or credit )had been used for £300 to Amazon and over £1000 to an international transaction. Usual press 1, 2 etc. DO NOT RESPOND. This is a premium call no. and you will be charged upwards of £20 just for dialling and then a high charge per second. DO NOT ANSWER OR HANG UP.

Claimed to be from Council Housing Association calling about reported repairs needed to my property. I was confused and asked what he meant as I am not in a council house. The voice on the other end repeated themselves, I told them again I am not in a council property and an automated AI thanked me for my time and hung up.
I received a phone from a person called Kevin representing Windows technical support from phone number 02045009692. He told me the usual nonsense about my computer but I told him that I was not interested as I had got rid of my computer because of these scam phone calls. I told him in no uncertain terms not to bother me again.
