Just called again. This time just said internet provider. Had to press one to connect to technician. Put the phone down and reported them to Action Fraud. Also to my internet provider.
Scam call claiming problems with BT account payment.
Said they were Windows technical department. Told them I don’t have a computer. They hung up.

This is a taxi call back number which you will receive if you book a taxi with Capital cabs
automated message claiming to be from hmrc and to call back urgently to prevent further action?

interesting... a call from aberdeen, a city i ve never been to and where I certainly do NOT know people who have an interest in calling me... couldn t find any other comments/complaints on the web. well, won t take the risk of ringing them back....
