SCAM Recording of a lady with a pleasant voice told me that my phone and internet connection was to be cut off due to suspected criminal activity on my provider's service. Asked me to press button 1 to speak to someone. Didn't of course. Reported it to BT instead

SCAM Indian call centre called claiming to be BT and said that my WiFi was being used illegally by other people without my knowledge. They even sent me texts and emails on legitimate BT numbers and email addresses. Claiming you have been in a car accident. Avoid answering and block.
Many calls from this number and a dozen others, one at half midnight. On the occasions I did answer they gave the name NCS Legal. I asked them to stop calling, explaining I was registered with TPS. The only thing that worked was lying to them by saying the insurance company had already fully compensated me - there was no money to be claimed. Miraculously the calls then stopped. I ve complained via TPS. Please consider also complaining, TPS or OfCom. Hopefully eventually they ll get landed with a good size
