SCAM – They claim to be from peoples postcode lottery, which my dad is a member of, saying he had won a free discount card. Wanted bank details to confirm the prize. They were actually calling on behalf of Supercard Black and he had “won” a postcode lottery but they set up a £200 direct debit for a trial that had to be cancelled within 14 days. No fees were clearly mentioned. Looking at TrustPilot for Supercard Black it seems this is a trick that they like to play and are happy to defend.

Fake H&M Revenue Scam ("House Under Surveillance" as previous comments suggest)
claimed to be called Philip from Energy services, Doncaster. I asked for name and number and said it was a TPS number. " oh we did not know" . I said that is what they all say so the only solution is to start prosecuting. Good luck he says i gave you a wrong number. Yes he did but 1471 does not! Muppet

This number calls me from what appears to be a local line and knew me by name. The guy on the phone told me they'd been informed of "a recent car accident i had..." and that's where I cut him off. Told him I have had no such thing, he was pushing spam calls and to remove me from the system, I also told him I am registered with the telephone preference service and he should not be contacting me. I then hung up. He called straight back and when I answered ready to give him more of an earful he hung

My wife went through this and they are evil. they clearly have some access to HMRC they threaten you with jail and then ring off and ring back as a Police Man saying they are sending a van round to your house. they claim to know where you live by geolocating you report to Action Fraud - its your duty.
