Number keeps calling but no message left

Just had a call from this number today. I said I would get the person they were asking for. I put my phone next to my stereo speaker and left the caller listening to scooter on full volume for 4 minutes! Lol. Sorted! Sick and tired of these calls.

These guys call saying they are from EE and offering special deals. Then they asked for my personal information. When I questioned why they needed my data they stated that the number they called on (which appeared on my handset) if listed on the EE website under the security section. I hung up and checked. No such number on EE s website, so I call a contact I have at EE and she checked and stated the number is most definitely NOT EE and I should not treat the call as an EE authorised call. We didn t get to the phone, first time (last night); second time (noon-ish), it was an instant hang-up. We expected to find the kind of comments that we read here. Thank you for confirming our fears. Isn t it tedious?

I have had a few calls from these but i never answer 08 numbers because 9 times out of ten they are dodgy and probably charge you for answering. I would love to know how they get your number. I have blocked this number from calling me again.

Do not talk to them, they are a scam. Use loudnoise down the line to get rid of them
