“... calling from ANS Nationwide regarding an accident you were in, in the past 3 years” “Nope” “Okay, sorry” *hangs up* Very strange call, definitely some sort of scam.

SCAM. Recorded message, claimed to be National Insurance Investigations, that some NI numbers have been compromised ( strangely, specifying in the North Wales borders, which is not my location), and press 1 to check before legal action is taken against my number. Assumed to be phishing, scam, or costly call back.
claimed my national insurance number was going to be suspended
I have received a call from 07751 476088 stating they were the Fraud Squad and that my National Insurnace Number will be suspoended as it is involved in a fraud and I could be arrested??????????????
Hung up as soon as answered. Getting lots of 020 numbered calls, all with noone on the other end

SCAM re 'investment' with Enterprise. cold call

An agent with a fake name ask you about your salary, employer's name, where you live - before you make an application with them, and if you don't provide these information, they get angry and desperate. Be cautious about identity theft. Ask for their business email address first before dealing with them.
Fraud SCAM Cold call. Indian voice asks you to give long card number as some payment at some time "did not go through". I remember no such occasion with an Indian agent, and if this does happen with any other, they immediately check and enter the card number again and it does go through. I said I can't just give my card number to an unknown caller for an unknown transaction, and the agent said he would get their lawyers to deal with me. I have blocked the number.
