Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 19022812xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with insurance, financial services, accident claims. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

Fraud Automated voice regarding national insurance number

Claims to be from Sky, spoofing a Leeds phone number but was clearly calling from India. Claimed my internet security was compromised, and tried to talk me through accessing the house wifi on my android phone, which was a new one on me. They wanted me to install a remote support app from the play store. Strung them along for a few minutes to get as much information as possible, then pointed out that I actually work for Sky so know they are a scam, and they quickly hung up.

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked

Cold call received mid-morning. Disrespectful, pushy and unprofessional. No contact from this local business ever before, yet rang using over-familiar approach and demanding to talk about IT and security contracts. No evidence of who they were, except their say so. This is not someone that you would wish to talk to blind on the phone and not a business that thinks about their approaches and the need to safeguard their prospective customers against "fishing expeditions".
